Stefania Lodi Rizzini, born in Mantova Italy. I graduated from Università degli Studi di Milano, with a thesis called, “The female identity in contemporary British art: Jenny Saville, Gillian Wearing, Tracey Emin and Mona Hatoum”
An extract of my thesis was published in the Culture, Journal from the Anglo-American Institute of the Università degli Studi di Milano.
The main focus of my research and personal interest deals with the concept of female, identity and culture and I am currently a Phd student at the University of Paris, Nouvelle-Sorbonne Paris 3, as part of LIRA (Laboratoire International de la Recherche sur les Arts), at the Theater Institute.
My current research under the direction of Joseph Féral is related to the question of gender, performance, body and myth specifically in contemporary theater, Motus, Jan Fabre, Phia Menard, Emma Dante.
